1. Introduction
In our continuous effort to furnish our licensees with new and attractive casino games on a monthly basis,
we are happy to announce the release of yet another Playtech exclusive! This document describes the new
card game Tequila Poker, which will be released during April 2006 to all Playtech licensees.
The game Tequila Poker has premiered in the land based "Hard Rock Casino" in Las Vegas last year and has
recently been accepted by the Nevada Gaming Commissions and is about to be deployed in various land
based casinos in Las Vegas. In the online space, the game has been licensed to Playtech exclusively by the
game authors. Joining our first exclusive and highly successful game of Blackjack Switch, this new addition
to our casino games portfolio is expected to attract both existing and prospective players. The benefit is
two-fold – a new exciting game for players to try out as well as an extra marketing value due to the game's
exclusivity to Playtech licensees.
Also included is the Game Limits section where the default limits for the game are described. The Game
Limits section is highly important for all operators and gives a deeper understanding of managing the game's
exposure level.

2. Tequila Poker
Tequila Poker is a unique card game and combines two game modes, High Tequila which is a high/low type
game, and Tequila Poker, a poker type game. The game is played with a single deck of cards. In every
game round the player using the initial four cards dealt has a choice to continue the hand based on either
the High Tequila or the Tequila Poker rules. The player can also choose to fold, in which case they lose their
ante bet.
Once the player decides to continue using one of the two game modes the ante bet is doubled, two more
cards are dealt and the game round outcome is determined based on the six dealt cards.
.. When High Tequila is selected the combined value of the five highest ranking cards is calculated and a
total result of 46 or higher wins a prize.
.. When Tequila Poker is selected the six cards are used for constructing the best possible 5 card poker
hand with a pair of aces or any poker hand higher than a pair of aces winning a prize.

3. Tequila Poker default game limits
To control the level of exposure of any casino game, its limits must be studied and configured correctly as
per the casino's exposure and risk policy. Listed overleaf are the default limits assigned by Playtech at the
time of uploading Tequila Poker to preview mode. These limits are configured in the VIP Limits section of the
casino backend.

The game limits of any new game must ALWAYS be reviewed and if necessary adjusted by
the casino operator before the game is released to production
Casino operators should review Tequila Poker's default limits in the various supported currencies and reconfigure
them as per their policy from the casino backend. The limits can be viewed and modified when the
casino is still in preview mode. This enables fine tuning the limit definitions before switching the game to
production, whereby eliminating all possibility of unwanted exposure.
As far as how the defined limits are reflected in Tequila Poker – the minimum limit is the minimum ante bet
and the maximum limit is the maximum ante bet. As the game evolves and providing the player did not fold
after the initial deal, the ante bet is matched with an additional bet - a "re-bet" - of the same amount,
resulting in a total bet which equals two times the ante bet amount. On any winning hand the ante bet will
always pay out even money, regardless of the payout of the specific hand. The payout table available on the
table layout is to be read as multiplications on the re-bet amount only. The highest paying prize pays out x
200 (Royal Flush in Tequila Poker or 54 in High Tequila). Therefore, the overall exposure of a single Tequila
Poker game round is to be calculated as follows:
Maximum Exposure = MaxAnteBet x 1 + MaxReBet x MaxPayout = MaxBet x 1 + Maxbet x 200 =
Maxbet x 201
For example, when the maximum limit is set to $100 it means that the maximum exposure per hand is $100
x 201 = $20,100.

understanding the limits and configuring them.
